Mark McAllion

Maribyrnong Sports Academy Sports Director

Mark McAllion is currently the Sport Director at the Maribyrnong Spots Academy (MSA).  Mark joined MSA in December 2016 and now has over 28 years of sports administration experience.  He has a strong Game Development background which includes senior management positions at Cricket Victoria, Cricket Australia and Tennis Australia, and was the CEO of Softball Australia. Prior to joining MSA Mark was the CEO of Vicsport.

Mark also has a strong coaching background having coached cricket at the club and state level, has held many coaching & volunteer roles in community sport and was the Match Day Team Manager for the Western Bulldogs FC.

Mark has also been an active member on numerous industry committees including the Victorian School Sports Council, VicHealth’s Physical Activity Advisory Committee, the Victorian Government’s Women’s Sport Taskforce and Chairman of the Deakin University Exercise and Sports Science Advisory Board.
