What we eat and drink can have a significant impact on our health, body composition and sporting performance. As an Accredited Practising and Sports Dietitian, Ola can work with you towards achieving your dietary goals. She can provide expert practical advice, an individualised meal plan and the support to make a difference to your health and sporting performance in the following areas:


  • Optimising nutrition for growth & development
  • Maximising energy levels for training / competition
  • Altering body composition (decreasing body fat levels, increasing lean muscle tissue)
  • Recovery between training sessions
  • Sports foods and supplements
  • Correcting nutrient deficiencies
  • Gut Disorders (Coeliac Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Food Intolerances)
  • Ensuring student athletes develop a healthy relationship with food


What will the program involve?

All athletes and coaches at the Maribyrnong Sports Academy will have access / exposure to:

  • Individual consultations (by appointment)
  • Group education sessions
  • Hydration testing and education
  • Skinfold testing (if appropriate / required for senior athletes)
  • Handouts / posters relaying nutritional messages
  • Monthly articles in the newsletter
  • Parent nutrition information sessions and cooking workshops


Ola will be onsite 3 days every week throughout the year and can be contacted on


Individual Consultations

At your consultation Ola will assess your medical history, lifestyle habits, dietary patterns, training schedule and current health and wellbeing goals in order to devise a tailored eating plan and goals. This process will take approximately 45 minutes and will allow you to immediately begin working towards your nutritional goals. Prior to any appointment a student is required to complete a 2-day food diary that will help Ola to identify any areas of dietary concern.

More about Ola Luczak  

Ola is an Accredited Practising and Sports Dietitian who graduated from the Master of Dietetics at Deakin University. In addition, she holds a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) from the University of Central Florida, USA, where she was awarded a full tennis scholarship for the duration of her studies.


Ola has always been drawn to working with motivated people who want to make positive changes to improve their health and sporting performance. In addition to working with the Maribyrnong Sports Academy, Ola is an active member of Sports Dietitians Australia and works in private practice at Lakeside Sports Medicine Centre (Albert Park). She has worked with elite and junior athletes across a range of sports and clubs including Tennis Victoria, National Theatre Ballet School, Gippsland Sports Academy, Knox Triathlon Club, Nunawading Swimming Club, and has had exposure to working with both Melbourne Victory and St. Kilda Football Clubs.
