Brenton O’Brien

Classes taught:  ADP, HPE

Sport coached:  Basketball

Coaching Qualifications: Level 2 Association Level Accredited Coach (Currently completing the High Performance Level 3 Coach course).

Achievements:  Played representative basketball for the Geelong Supercats in juniors and senior teams. 

Started coaching as a 13 years ago and has been involved at all levels of basketball ranging from entry levels all the way to Semi-Professional. 

He has coached Multiple Senior Representative teams ranging from youth league, Big V men and NBL1. 

He has been a part of the Basketball Victoria and Basketball Australia coaching pathways where he has been a part of Victorian State teams and all development programs. 

The highlight of my career so far are being apart of the Basketball Australia Emerging Coach Initiative.

Education achievements:  Bachelor of Health and Physical Education and Diploma Sport Development (Basketball).
