Welcome to our Athletics Academy Program

Athletics Academy Program

Program Overview

We aim to provide a training environment that will prepare developing athletes for selection in Athletics Australia pathway programs and national representation.

We aspire to be recognised nationally and internationally as one of the finest schools for talented young Track and Field athletes and develop a culture that promotes consistent training habits and routines.

Training Sessions

All athletes in the MSA athletics program are expected to attend all scheduled technical training sessions conducted by MSA coaching staff. Athletes in a national pathway program (National U17 or U19 squad) can negotiate with the Head Coach an individual training schedule.

Athletes who are not in the national training program but wish to maintain an external coach can do so, provided they attend a minimum of two technical training sessions per week with an MSA technical coach.
