Program overview
The aim of the Maribyrnong College Netball Program is to develop a training schedule to assist young Victorian Junior Netball players in their pathway towards State, National and International representation, including selection into Netball teams within the ANZ Championship.
Aims
To develop talented young netball players through:
"Best Practice" quality coaching
Providing a safe and productive learning environment
Dynamic training programs
To develop young people who can balance sporting and academic performance
Program Achievements
Every year the Netballers participate in a number of competitions across different year levels and age groups. These include:
The Waverley International Tournament (U15 and Senior divisions)
Interschool Sport (Yr7, Yr 8, Intermediate and Senior divisions)
Netball Victoria Schools Championship (Junior, Intermediate and Senior divisions)
