Judo Academy Program

Program Overview

The Judo Program at Maribyrnong Sport Academy is delivering a great opportunity for talented judoka to balance both their sporting and academic pursuits.This structure supports the young athletes in realising their dreams by offering them an elite training environment.

This academy is the only one of the kind for Judo in Australia. On top of adding judo sessions to their weekly schedule, the academy offers strength and conditioning, injury prevention programs, rehabilitation programs, sports science, nutrition, and sport psychology.

 

Training Sessions

Monday - Wednesday - Friday 7:00am to 8:30am

MSA Athletes have 3 weekly training sessions to complement their club training. The focus is to develop their technical, tactical, mental and physical skills in order to help the young judoka reach their full potential with the aim of achieving a National or International level.

Maribyrnong Sport Academy has its own venue with a wrestling and judo mats area.
