In very wet and windy conditions at Gardiners Run Golf Club competition was tough with only 3 shots separating 1stand 3rdin both the Boys and Girls division
Congratulations to year 8 Academy student Louise Baliton who won the girls division with a 5 over 77 on a count back after tying with Jazy Roberts from Crusoe College after 18 holes.
Year 10 student Kayli Schenk finished the day 17 over.
In the boys competition year 9 student Navindu De Silva Abeyweeya Gunasekara was the best Maribyrnong athlete with a 1 over the card 73 finishing 4 shots off the winner.

We wish all students the best at their respective carnivals. Meanwhile the Grand final of the NAB League Women’s competition was held over the weekend between Northern Knights and Calder Cannons. Five MSA Students competed in the match. Georgia Patrikios, Georgie Prespakis and Neve Crowley played for the Cannons who went down to the Knights by 33 points. For the victors Ellie McKenzie (13 disposals, six marks and one goal) had a great game while Jess Fitzgerald wonthe best-on-ground medal for a team-high 15 disposals, five tackles and three rebound-50s.
School Holiday Camps at MSA
Maribyrnong Sports Academy is pleased to announce a partnership with Australian Sports Camps to provide School Holiday camps at the school’s facility.
Maribyrnong Sports Academy is pleased to announce a partnership with Australian Sports Camps to provide School Holiday camps at the school’s facility.
The Australian Sports Camps will be run over a 3 day period and will provide Holiday Sports Coaching for Netball, Football (Soccer) and Basketball participants for boys and girls aged 6 to 16.
Participants will learn skills and game play from elite players and coaches which in turn will help improve their skills and most of all have fun and make new friends
