It was a quiet weekend for MSA Alumni this weekend with rain forcing our cricketers to miss the week or injury hampering some of our stars.

Monthly finalists were interviewed throughout the evening and the overall winner announced and congratulations to graduated 2021 Year 12 Judo athlete, Ryley Rametta.
This was enormous for Ryley as she was unable to compete in events for almost two years with her last international competition at the European Judo Championships in Turkey. Ryley had major surgery in 2021 and with this break in sport and the rigours of training, she was able to focus on Year 12 studies.
Ryley now has her sights set on making the Australian Olympic team and she is more determined than ever! Ryley received $5000 from the SWRSC sponsor Yarraville Club Cricket Club.
Year 10 cricketer Holly Nagpal was awarded the ‘Encouragement Award’. Holly received $1000 from sponsor The Bendigo Bank – Strathmore branch.
MSA featured throughout the evening with Year 11 cricketer Mitch Jamieson, and Year 12 Hockey athlete Bridgette de la Mere congratulated on their nominations throughout 2021.
We thank the SWRSC for their continued support and the work they do in the community to support youth and sport in the western suburbs.
